Just back from a ten day vacation at the East Coast. I visited my '
Athens 2004 friend' David in Virginia. Day one, David took me to an '
underage drinking party' at his ex-girlfriend's house. An enjoyable experience, I was introduced to the world of drinking games i.e.
beerpong ! :-) Day two in
Washington DC, I had the idea to pee in the front yard of Bush at the white house, but I changed my mind when I saw the sniper on the roof. Enjoyed nightlife in Georgetown together with David's brother Chad and girlfriend. Day three, a chill-out day at David's house in Winchester, celebrated his 20th birthday together with his parents. Day four, Monday, our start for a journey along the East Coast. Checked out the Casino's in Atlantic City, of which
Borgata was the most spectacular. Day five, a long drive to NYC, but worth it, since we had a great party night a one of the most upscale clubs of
New York City,
Suede. Result: a $200 bar tab! Day six, an other long drive to Boston, found some great Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Quicksilver bargains at a factory outlet along the way to Boston. Day seven, checked out the nerds at
MIT &
Harvard and had a delicious dinner at
Cheese Cake Factory. Day eight, a very long journey back to Wincester, fortunately we were invited at Tom's place to enjoy his
hot tub! Day nine, some shopping with David and his friends Tom & Mike. Watched 'The Notebook' together with the Wincester boys & girls. Day ten, Sunday, drove to UVA (
University of Virginia) and met the roommates of David, I loved their humor!
