Next-Fashion, Belga Queen, Soulwax and Steve's

I had to catch up on some sleep after those two crazy weeks in Ibiza, so I limited my activities to a photoshoot for Glitterati at Next Fashion last weekend. You will find the pictures and video report soon at Glitterati.be
Earlier this week I was in Wales(UK) for business and went to the movies at a local UGC. I saw a really good Australian triller called 'Wolf Creek'. Check the trailer here. Last night, I had dinner with my friend Janneke at Belga Queen in Ghent after which we listened to a live set of Soulwax vs 2ManyDJs on StuBru. If you love electro, make sure to check the Soulwax Nite Versions live recorded at the Marconi-studios here. (starts at '8:30)
On my way home from Ghent I called Joeri, who was desperately for a drink, so we met at Steve's where we finished a bottle of Cointreau.

Back from Ibiza, back to reality

My last blog update was on Wednesday, so you're probably wondering what we've been doing during our last days in Ibiza. After picking-up Joeri on Wednesday night we rushed to Privilege for the Meganite with Mauro Picotto, Chris Liebing and Riccardo Ferri. If you like hardstyle techno, then check this video. On Thursday night we had dinner at Cap d'es Falco, a beautiful romantic spot on Ibiza. After picking-up Tomika at the airport we had a drink in downtown Eivissa. Since Tïesto played at Amnesia, we couldn't refuse to go there for a third time. On Friday afternoon I dropped off Joeri at the harbor and joined the other guys who were enjoying the sun at Playa D'en Bossa and the chill music of Bora Bora. We had two bottles of Moet & Chandon while enjoying the view. Since the food was so delicious, we decided to have again dinner at Cap d'es Falco. On Saturday we enjoyed the Platja d'es Cavallet beach and had lunch at El Chiringuito. Later that day we had our delayed flight back to Brussels... And now the pictures you've all been waiting for, check them out here!

Ibiza update V: One night, three parties

Last night was a busy night, as where we normally choose one party for the night, we did three. We started off with Carl Cox at Space. Just after midnight we entered Amnesia where Armin Van Buuren was playing the decks and we finished our party night at Pacha, with Defected in the house. Tonight I will pick-up Joeri, a Belgian friend, at the harbour of Ibiza. He will stay for two nights but I don't think he´s going to sleep a lot. :0)

Ibiza update IV: Eden & Bora Bora

After picking up Arsenio and Maaike on Sunday evening, we headed to Eden in San Antonio for Judgement Sunday with Judge Jules. The trance @ 150bpm was really great, lot´s of dance acts, lasers and a great audience. We kept partying until 7am and after some sleep we enjoyed the sun and music at Bora Bora on Playa Den Bossa. Monday night was our second time at Privilege for Manumission. This time we stayed until the end of the show, what a great spectacle!

Ibiza update III: Pacha

What a party! Last night was the best party till now here in Ibiza. Pacha hosted the Def Mix party with DJ's Hector Romero and Satoshi Tomiie. Two fantastic electro/house sets which kept me dancing until 6am in the morning, this is how all parties should be! Tonight, my friends Arsenio and Maaike will arrive in Ibiza and next week Thursday I expect Joeri to arrive at the island. An other six party nights to go! A must for all you Ibiza lovers, the BBC Radio1 Ibiza 2005 site.

Ibiza update II: KM5 & Cafe Del Mar

On Tuesday night we had dinner at KM5, a beautiful luxurious bedouin style oasis nestled in the hills about five kilometers outside of Ibiza town. Lots of top DJ´s have dinner at the KM5 restaurant before heading to the club to play their set. We had the pleasure to meet Carl Cox at KM5. On Wednesday afternoon we had our first Catamaran sailing lesson at Playa d´en bossa. We signed up for daily lessons until the end of our vacation, in the hope of becoming top of the notch sailors. On Wednesday night we found ourselves at Cafe Del Mar, the perfect place for a sunset in Ibiza. Cafe Mambo, located next to Cafe Del Mar, had Erick Morillo at the decks. I managed to shoot a nice movie of his set, which I will publish later on. Tonight promises to be a great party night, Cream @ Amnesia with Paul Van Dyk!
