One night, two parties, 380km of driving, 3 hours of sleep...a men needs to make sacrifices to report Belgium's hottest parties. My party journey started at Suikerrock in Tienen, where I met Tiësto backstage. Unfortunatelly, had to leave during his set to make it on time for BeauBar at Knokke-Out. Q-Music Beach House & Kim Engelbosch

Bram invited me for an afternoon at the beach in Oostende. We had our towels strategically placed near the Q-Music Beach House to enjoy both beach and live broadcasts. After tanning, we had a few Vedetts at the terrace of the Q-Beach house to cool off . Well, there wasn't much room to cool off, since we were joined by Kim Engelbosch! Next Tuesday, Kim will feature on the cover of P-Magazine with a fantastic photo shoot made in Brazil, an issue you definitely can't miss!!!

Three years www.bart.la !!!

It was exactly 3 years ago, when I uploaded the first pictures on my personal website www.bart.la live from Guillermo's house in Beverly Hills. Many trips and parties have followed since then, but the California trip is still my number one vacation!

Spanish Har(l)em

Last Tuesday, just before my plane landed in Brussels I spotted the
Werchter festival area. Just two days earlier it hosted 80.000 people who enjoyed Belgium's biggest festival Rock Werchter. I watched a short festival report on TMF about the performances of Soulwax v.s. 2manydj's and Tiga... it looked awesome!Anyway, I had to miss this great event, since I was traveling to Spain to visit some friends, which was an exiting adventure! On Tuesday June 27, I flew from Brussels to a small airport called San Javier(Allicante South) near Murcia where I was picked up by Maria. She hosted me for two days at her parents apartment in downtown Murcia. I drove with her mother's Volvo S80 to 'La Manga', a resort town near Murcia and to Calblanque, a beautiful park with untouched natural beaches. (check my pics here) At night we were joined by some of Maria's friends to check the local bars in downtown Murcia. (check the pics here). After a quick stop at Maria's University UCAM we took the bus to Jumilla where Ines surprised us with her early arrival from Lancaster (UK), where she had completed her Erasmus. Since we wanted to travel along the Costa Blanca, we needed a car... Ines offered a great sollution, her father's 1984 Porsche 944... story to be continued.
